We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded £167,000 in National Lottery funding to renovate the first floor of the Bridgend Centre.
We will use the money to replace the Kerridge stone roof to the front of the building and develop the first floor to create two modern and bright meeting rooms that will be used to accommodate more activity groups, exercise classes and one-to-one meetings for the community.
We’re delighted that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised the work we do at the Bridgend Centre and that we have the opportunity to expand the depth and breadth of services we deliver. By renovating the first floor of the building, we will be able to create a lovely space to spend time and ensure it is available for community use for many years to come.
