Health, wellbeing and lifestyle event – 15th March

There is a free bus from Bollington to this great event next week. Starting at 10:45 pick-up and drop-off points for the bus will be the Bridgend Centre, the Medical Centre (Hawthorn Road) and Bollington Cross (Princess Drive). It will be returning from Poynton at 1:30pm.

		1 10:15 am: Walk - The one on the other side of the road - 5 miles - rating 2 boots 10:15 am – 1:15 pm May 1, 2024 All walks start at 10:15am unless otherwise stated. The cost is £3.00 per walk. On a Wednesday this price includes tea, coffee and biscuits at the end of the walk. The walks vary in difficulty & length each week and so we have a ratings system to provide information on the difficulty of each one, which is detailed below. 13 6:30 pm: Walk for Health - Riverside Car Park, Macclesfield 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm May 13, 2024 Bollington ‘Walks for Health’ is a programme of short, easy guided walks in and around Bollington designed to encourage new walkers. They provide a great opportunity to enjoy some exercise and meet people. The walks on this programme are weekly on a Monday evening at 6:30pm for the duration of the Spring/Summer. There are different start points around Bollington and surrounding areas each week on a rotational basis. All the walks are easy, approximately 2 miles in length, with no stiles and only gentle or short slopes/steps to climb or go down. Some surfaces and paths we travel are can be rough, uneven or muddy so we do recommend you wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. You may like to bring a drink. There is no charge for these walks. These walks have been planned and organised by the Bridgend Centre. A certain basic level of fitness is required to do these walks so please ring the Bridgend Centre or see the leaflet if you require any guidance or more information.
