Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at the Bridgend Centre!
2018 has been an amazing year for Bridgend, with the purchase of our building, three new members of staff, a new project to revamp our walking trails and funding to significantly extend the reach of our Bridgend Buddies project. Therefore 2019 looks set to be an equally exciting year with lots of developments in the pipeline.
December marked the retirement of our much-loved colleague Tricia Hodgskiss. She will be sadly missed but will be enjoying a well-deserved retirement.
Thank you so much to our staff, volunteers, trustees and supporters for everything you do all year round, we really couldn’t do it without you. Wishing you a wonderful festive period and see you in the New Year.

Purchase of the Bridgend Centre
We are very pleased to tell you that the sale of the Bridgend Centre was completed this afternoon. Our charity is now the proud owners of one building!
Words aren’t really enough to say how much it means to us, it has hopefully created a lasting, positive legacy for the Bridgend Centre, Bollington and the wider community in Cheshire East.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us to make it happen. Particularly the Garfield Weston Foundation, who made such a generous donation to us in the form of a £150,000 grant; Charity Bank, who got the ball rolling by agreeing to lend us the money in the first place; Shoosmiths Solicitors and Bollington Town Council who have agreed to lend us a significant contribution to fund a replacement roof. We’d also like to thank our Trustees for their hard work, expertise and support on this project.
