Bridgend Heritage Trail 6 – As the Crow Flies

Taking a fairly straight route ‘out and back’ route to Higher Hurdsfield, this walk initially rises and then gradually descends as it wends from town to farm to canal back to Bollington.

Distance: 5.5 miles

Difficulty: Easy after one climb near the start

They provide a great opportunity to enjoy some exercise and meet people. The walks on this programme are weekly on a Monday daytime at 10.15am through Autumn and Winter. There are different start points. All the walks are easy, less than 2 miles in length, with no stiles and gentle slopes. We recommend you wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. You may like to bring a drink. There is no charge for these walks.
