Request for Volunteers
Looking for volunteering opportunities? The Bridgend Centre needs you!
Whether you like getting out and about in the fresh air, enjoy making things with your hands or prefer to work on a computer the Bridgend Heritage Trails project has a role for you! We are updating eight local walking trails stretching from Swanscoe Hall to Bakestonedale Moor and Whiteley Green to Harrop Fold. Set up over fifteen years ago and now in need of a little tidy up and looking to go digital!
We’re looking for:
Walkers to test out amendments to walk routes.
Woodworkers to remove and replace markers on the trails themselves or to cut, drill and refurbish wooden items in our workshop.
Readers to check out our spelling and grammar!
If you would like to get involved, perhaps visiting some new places and making new friends along the way please contact Avril at the Bridgend Centre
